PBS Staff

Rachel Freeman: Dr. Freeman is an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Kansas, a Research Associate at the KU Med Center in Kansas City, and holds an adjunct faculty appointment in the Department of Special Education at KU.  Dr. Freeman coordinates the dissemination of the Online Academy Positive Behavior Support (PBS) modules, supervises the implementation of a school-wide PBS project in a Topeka middle school, and is a member of the Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (www.pbis.org). Dr. Freeman has worked in residential support settings and has provided behavioral support consultation in schools, residential, and vocational settings in America and England.  Areas of interest and publication include issues related to PBS, physiology and problem behavior, online instruction, and staff development.
